Laut Avenue Industrial Building

KDG was approached by a new client to develop a contemporary industrial park in the new commercial / industrial subdivision of Crossfield. Being the first development in the new subdivision, our goal was to enhance the appeal of both Laut Avenue and Range Road 12 and create a building that acts as a focal point for the intersection.

The project was designed to accommodate our clients' needs and aspirations as well as translate them into practical architectural solutions.

We created an industrial condominium for a wide spectrum of businesses and affiliated uses that are compatible with each other and do not harmfully affect the usage of the surrounding land. We proposed three buildings with 14 industrial units on 6 acres with visitor parking and a storage yard with a building area of about 100,000 sq. ft.

UNIQUE FEATURE

A unique challenge was presented when partway through construction the ownership changed bringing in new clients who had new demands for the building's program.

KDG successfully adapted the building by maintaining the almost finished shell of the first building and adjusting the interior, the parking and the land to tailor to the new owners' needs and requirements.
