KDG was hired by Helms Construction to develop a new industrial project north of Calgary in Balzac, Rocky View.
The new industrial park consists of two multi-tenant buildings totalling approximately 34,000 sq. ft. Both buildings house 6 two-storey units of about 3,000 sq. ft. each.
The buildings were designed for a mix of industrial, commercial and retail uses. All units share a courtyard parking lot for full-size trucks and other larger vehicles. The project is located on a 2-acre site with extensive landscaping.
UNIQUE FEATURE
KDG was engaged in the interior design of the majority of the units.
We made it possible to tailer one unit to the community center, while the next serves as a Sunday Christian church.
A lucrative private office is comfortable next to a big computer farm.
